Brief description of Põlva County Partnership Board

Põlva County Partnership Board was established in the framework of programme of partnership of South-East Estonia in April 2001, being the first partnership working on the principles of LEADER.

The main aims of our strategy are the following:
1) enhancement of rural areas by supporting entrepreneurs (investments, know-how etc)
2) developing communities and community services
3) upkeep and safe environment

There are 8 board members and 3 employees working daily basis – a manager, communications manager and a accountant.
